Swim lessons are offered at Tuckahoe to both members and non-members, with a variety of swimming levels in every session. Each class requires a minimum of three students. We strive to keep the instructor to child ratio as low as possible, with a second instructor added with seven or more children in the class.
Instructors will ask each child to perform certain skills on the first day of class to ensure their proper placement in the class. It is our goal to have children with similar swimming skills in the same class, although they may not necessarily be the same age. Instructors will make sure the child is in the correct class.
THE LAST DAY FOR REGISTRATION IS THE THURSDAY NIGHT AT 9 PM before the start of EACH SESSION.
THERE IS A CLASS MAXIMUM OF 10 STUDENTS WITH 2 INSTRUCTORS.
No refunds are given after the first class.
