Big Cats offers an opportunity to workout in a fun group setting with other adult swimmers. Train as a team with coaching to improve anything from general lap swimming to your own personal competitive goals. Our Aquatic Director and Head Swim Coach, Torey Ortmayer, leads the group year-round, providing workouts that range in focus from aerobic endurance training to anaerobic race pace work to keep your body guessing. We aim to incorporate all four strokes, exposing you to more advanced training methods, utilizing kick, scull, drills, and more. Even if you are brand new to lap swimming, we will meet you at your level and help you improve at your own pace.
We practice as often as the weather allows us, in our heated outdoor pool all year long. Your first practice is free – once you try it, we know you will buy a pack of tickets and become a regular!
