The outdoor pool will be closed for operations if the outside air temperature is BELOW 35° F.

The process for determining temperature and outdoor pool status is as stated below:

• The source used by all staff and club members for temperature data will be http://www.weather.com and inputting the Club’s zip code of 22101. Other weather data sources are not considered in this process.
• The temperature will be evaluated by this source every morning 5 minutes prior to opening.
• If the temperature is BELOW 35° F. at that time, the outdoor pool will remain closed until we reevaluate at the top of the next hour.
• If at the top of the next hour, the temperature is 35° F. or ABOVE the outdoor pool will open for use.
• If at the top of the next hour, the temperature is BELOW 35° F. the outdoor pool will remain closed and the temperature will be reevaluated again at the top of the next hour.

This policy is ONLY for the outdoor pool.

The Winter Bath House lobby and indoor pool will be open during normal operating hours unless an unsafe condition exists and club leadership decides to close the Club in its entirety because of such conditions.

Notifications will NOT be sent out for daily outdoor pool temperature considerations. Members are encouraged to follow the weather data source (www.weather.com with zip code 22101 inputted) to determine what the current status is. 8am to 7pm | Monday to Friday

9am to 7pm | Saturday & Sunday
