Rental Policies & Facility Rules
Tuckahoe Recreation Club welcomes private events sponsored by members. The rules below have been adopted to ensure fairness to all members and to assist in the smooth management of the pool. The staff will make every attempt to ensure compliance with these rules so that all members may enjoy the facility equally.
- Reservation form and payment must be submitted, and a confirmation email sent to you before your reservation date and time is confirmed for your event.
- Parties must be scheduled at least 5 business days in advance. Tuckahoe will start accepting reservations for summer events on May 1 each year. Please complete the Facilities Rental Form to schedule your event. All parties must be approved by management.
- Parties are limited to three hours. After completing the facility reservation form and your reservation is confirmed, you will be billed a non-refundable $100 deposit. The deposit must be paid in full to hold your requested date and time slot. You must move your group out of the area after the reservation has ended to avoid additional charges. If availability exists, a second rental may be booked. Grills are not included in your reservation and are on a first come, first serve basis. Members are responsible for cleaning the grills after use.
- The fee for facility rental is $100. The $100 non-refundable deposit will be applied to the facility rental charge. Please settle all guest fees and charges with the front desk at the conclusion of your party. The guest fees are charged in addition to the facility rental fee.
- If your party area is not cleaned up after your party, you will incur a $50/hour fee for clean up, which will be added to your member account. If there is any damage to equipment or merchandise, the member is responsible for the cost of any repairs.
- If there is inclement weather expected prior to the start of the event, staff will be available to help you reschedule. Facility rentals can not be moved inside or under the Pavilion. If inclement weather is in the forecast, it is advised that you contact management to reschedule prior to the start of the event. There are no refunds after the start of the event.
- All individuals (members and non-members) entering the facility for your party must sign-in at the front desk. Guest fees will be charged for all non-members (children & adults). All fees are payable at the end of your event at the front desk.
- The sponsoring member is required to remain at Tuckahoe for the duration of the event. The member is responsible for ensuring guests adhere to the Club’s policies and the safety of their guests. Management may halt an event if the guest’s behavior violates the rules. If this should happen, refunds will not be granted.
- There is a maximum of 30 people (adults, children, and other members) per facility rental permitted. IF your event exceeds 30 people, you will be charged an additional $125. Parties are permitted a maximum of 60 people. Larger events are subject to management approval in order to ensure adequate additional staffing is available.
- The Club cannot store any food items in the Tuckahoe Grille freezer/refrigerator for your event.
- Alcohol (beer and wine) is permitted, but only in designated areas. Glass bottles and other containers are not permitted on the property.
- Note: Tuckahoe is unable to accept facility rental requests in 2025 from July 28 through September 14 due to the indoor pool renovation project.
