Full Membership
Who Must Join. All family members including parent(s), spouses, and children from the ages of five (5) through twenty one (21) residing at home must join. A family member that is incapacitated and cannot enjoy services of the facilities are not required to join the club, subject to approval by the executive committee, on a case-by-case basis. Other adults (e.g., children over the age of 21, aunts, uncles and grandparents who live in the home) may join but are not required to join

Absentee Membership
Absentee Member Definition. Members moving their primary residence more than forty (40) miles from the Club, who expect to return at some future time and resume active membership, may upon request be placed in an absentee membership status. Such absentee member shall receive all announcements of the Club and shall be required to pay an annual fee for each member of the family to maintain this status. While in this status, they may not vote on matters of Club business or use the Club facilities except as guests. When an absentee member uses the facility as a guest, normal guest fees will apply, but that person need not be accompanied by an active member. Upon return, full membership may be resumed by notifying the Club in writing, and by paying dues and fees currently required under Article I, Section I. (b). All such members must notify the Club in writing and show proof of their current address.

Emeritus Membership
Definition of Emeritus Members. Any Member who has belonged to the Club for at least 20 continuous years, and is over 70 years of age, may become an Emeritus Member upon payment of an annual fee established by the Board of Directors. Family members of an Emeritus Member may retain their full membership to the Club.
Emeritus Member Privileges. Emeritus members are granted a fixed number of uses (currently 25) of the Club for themselves or their guests who will accompany them. These uses are not transferable. Each visit by an Emeritus Member is considered a separate use. Emeritus members can purchase additional annual uses from the Club. Emeritus Members do not have a vote in Club matters, have no claim on Club assets and cannot serve on the Board of Directors.
Wait List
Our Wait List is approximately a 4-5 year wait, and as a Wait List family, you are eligible for Wait List Family Day Passes.
Wait list Family Day Pass Procedure:
- Only families on the current wait list will be offered this pass
- The pass is not transferable and is for individuals, couples, or families ONLY (you may not invite guests)
- The cost of the pass is $50 for the whole family and is payable once you reserve your day to come.
- You must reserve your space (as it is limited as to how many each day we will allow) in advance via email to: membership@tuckahoe.net.
- Once paid for, you will receive a confirmation email confirming your day to visit.
- Once here, you are subject to the rules and policies of the Tuckahoe Recreation Club and therefore must still sign in.
In the meantime, you can take private and group swim lessons, tennis lessons and camps, yoga, and water aerobics as a wait list family. We would be happy to schedule a tour for your family to come and see the facility, just email: membership@tuckahoe.net, and we will get you on the calendar.
- Current cost to Join the Wait List: $500 deposit, $35 application fee = $535
- Wait List Deposit and Application Fees are Non-refundable
- When a wait list family is offered Full Membership, the balance of the initiation fee in addition to that years dues must be paid no later than April 30th in order to validate a family’s membership
Current Initiation fees are as follows:
- *Single Membership: $2000
- *Family Membership: $3000
