Tiger Tennis Camp

The Pass Academy Summer Tennis Program is a carefully designed and implemented approach to the game of tennis. Our overall goal in the program is to teach tennis for a lifetime of enjoyment and exercise.

We use sophisticated teaching techniques to analyze and develop strokes. Proper practice and drilling techniques are demonstrated while basic and advanced strategy is taught by on-court demonstration. Our small student/instructor ratio guarantees individual attention and evaluation.

Please note there is no tennis camp on July 4th. See age group specific descriptions below:

Dates:

  • Week 1: June 16 to 20
  • Week 2: June 23 to 27
  • Week 3: June 30 to July 3 (no class on 7/4)

  • Week 5: July 14 to 18

Ages 4-8

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Conveniently timed to follow swim team practice, this clinic is designed for the Sponge Ball/Red Ball group. The class focuses on developing essential skills such as hand-eye coordination, movement, catching, throwing, hitting, and balance. As your child progresses, transitioning from large sponge balls to oversized red balls supports their growth and helps improve accuracy and consistency in striking the ball. All equipment is carefully scaled to suit the size and skill level of the children.

Ages 9-10

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

This clinic is for the Orange Ball group, with classes organized into small groups based on age and ability. Participants will focus on tennis fundamentals, competitive drills, and coordination exercises to build a solid foundation for ongoing improvement.

Ages 11 and up

Time: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

This clinic is for the Green Dot/Yellow Ball group, where kids are grouped by age and skill level. It builds on the foundation established in the Orange Ball group.
